Another sick day...

Yup, Drew is still sick!  He's got some sort of stomach bug, which no doubt came from daycare.  (Apparently it is making its way around the infant room.)  I took him to the doctor yesterday, and we went back today to drop off the "specimens" that the doctor wanted us to collect- yeah, that's fun.  

Anywho, I just wanted to post some new pics of Drew.  These are some from last week, when we tried real baby food for the first time!  We started out with peaches, which he obviously loved- he finished the whole thing!  I was so proud of him!  By the time we were done, he was even opening his mouth when I held out the spoon!  He's such a big boy!

OOPS!

Well, I know I said that I would try to post a couple times a week... but this has been a crazy week!  First of all the weather has been keeping us-- and most of the state-- on our toes the past few days.  My parents in Mountain Home have been without power since Monday, and have been told that they may not have power for two weeks!  I'm just praying that this ice storm is officially over!   

Second, Drew is still sick.  He's had some sort of stomach bug for the past few days, which has not been fun at all.  Bless his little heart- he tries so hard to be his normal "happy" self, but you can tell he just feels yucky.  Hopefully we'll be through this very soon.  

Also, my work schedule has changed (once again) from last week.  We'll see how this new one works.  So far, I kind of like having 2 days off in the middle of the week.

On a more positive note, we got to see our best friends Kim and Buckley this weekend!  We had a blast (as always)!  Saturday we got to go to the horse races- and I got to drink Margaritas this year!  Such a fun weekend!

The Beginning

Hello Everyone!  I've been wanting to set up a blog for a while now, but it is so hard to find enough time!  Drew is getting bigger every day, and sometimes it is hard for me to keep up with him.  He's growing so fast, and I thought this would be a great way for all of our friends and family to keep up.  It is hard to believe that he is almost 5 months old already.  It seems like just yesterday I was weighing in at 150 with hormones raging out of control, ready to drop kick the next person that asked me when I was due.  Oh the joys of pregnancy!  I am just so glad that Drew is finally here! 

Our lives have changed so much in the last few months.  I can't even imagine life without him anymore!  He is looking more and more like his Daddy every day.  Although, he still has the auburn hair (what's left of it) and bright blue eyes!  He is so handsome!  And he is such a good-natured baby.  He is happy and smiling about 99% of the time--- we have the occasional fit when he's hungry or if Mommy doesn't change his dirty diaper quickly enough!  He has been teething the past few weeks, which is great fun!  In fact, we spent most of the day on Sunday trying to calm him down.  I think he's going to cut a tooth any day now.  

I promise to try to keep up with this thing!  Hopefully I'll be able to post a few times a week- at least that is my goal!  I hope everyone enjoys watching Drew grow as much as we do!
